Pilot in a Remlok helmet, visor lit in orange

WHAT IT DOES

Four modules, one visor.

Each module handles one part of the flight. They all run together, on top of the game.

WHAT THE MOD HAS

From helmet to phone, one panel.

Nexus Assistant reads what the game itself writes and shows what matters. You choose where to see it: on the visor, over the game, or on your phone.

Helmet HUD

A transparent window over the game, with modules laid out like a helmet: ship, power, alerts, missions, route and target.

02 Working

Phone panel

The same screen on your phone and in your browser, with 23 screens: ship, route, galaxy map, system, missions, factions and news.

A station mission board with the list of offers

03 In testing

Mission board read from the screen

The helmet photographs the game window, reads the station mission list and sorts it by deadline, destination and faction, with a suggested route.

04 In testing

Voice assistant

You speak, the helmet answers aloud and writes in the visor chat. It uses your own AI key (Claude, OpenAI or Gemini) or a local model on your PC. It looks things up and opens screens, but it does not fly the ship.

Physical controls

Minikeyboard, Stream Dock, gamepad and PC lights react to your ship. All optional.

In development. So far the mission board has only passed testing at 1920x1080, with the game in Portuguese. Other resolutions and game languages not yet.

ON THE VISOR

On top of the game, eyes on the route.

COMMANDER QUESTIONS

Straight answers, no lore.

Is this official from Frontier?

No. Nexus is a mod made by a player, in beta, with no charge and non-profit. Carzo Enterprises is an invented company that gives the mod a place inside the game's story.

How much does it cost?

Nothing during the beta. Price and plans are still being defined.

Does it work on console?

No. Nexus runs on PC, alongside Elite Dangerous installed on the computer.

When is the download coming?

No date yet. Join the waiting list and you'll get an email the day the download opens.

Who makes Nexus?

Felipe Carzo, an Elite Dangerous player. The company is named after his surname.

Does it change the game? Can I get banned?

Nexus does not modify or inject anything into Elite. It reads the files the game itself writes (the Journal and Status.json), presses keys only while the game is in front, and draws the HUD in a transparent window on top. Frontier gives no official guarantee for fan tools, so the decision to use it is yours.

HISTORY

From a workshop in LHS 3447 to visor supplier.

  1. 3305

Founded in LHS 3447, the system where many commanders take their first flight. It started out repairing cockpit panels.

  2. 3309

The Nexus mk0 prototype is recalled: it threw too much data on the visor. The lesson became house rule: only what matters reaches the visor.

  3. 3312

Nexus Assistant mk1.1 enters certification as an analytical helmet assistant.

WHO REALLY MAKES IT

Felipe Carzo, an Elite Dangerous player. Carzo Enterprises is fictional; Nexus is real and in beta.
